I found out about a rally today from a friend of mines blog called Nurses in Style
Today in midtown people rallied in support of saving the garment center. The speakers included local politicians, famous designers, and small factory owners. The speakers spoke about the importance of sustaining the American Economy by buying clothing and other items that are produced in American rather than overseas. One of the speakers is the proud owner of a factory passed down to him from his father-in-law. Today this factory owner produces a line of medical scrubs with his daughter. It is an honor for them to print "Made in New York" on their label. It is important for consumers to realize the influence their small purchases have on the national economy. But next time you go shopping check the label. If your a doctor/nurse/or medical affiliate- tell those in charge to have their hospitals buy from scrub companies that produce in America. This company has both men's and women's scrubs
LETS SHOW OUR SUPPORT.
*shout out to my friend who told me about the rally, thanks :)
